The Tavares de Melo Group has a commitment with sustainability and directs its management towards responsible use and preservation of the non-renewable assets. The organization maintains a forests preservation program and Permanent Preservation Áreas intheir land áreas in four Brazilian States. This means more than 16.000 hectares preserved in Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco and Mato Grosso do Sul.

The group understands that Corporate Socail Liability is the ethic and transparent form of management the organization maintains towards its several target public, in a manner to minimize the negative impact on environment and community.
